After more than 10 years as an independent broker,  I was not inclinded to make big changes in my professional life. I enjoyed my work and my freedom, and didn't see any reason to rock the boat. Yet for a while, I did feel slight tug of desire for something more. The pace of the real estate industry's evolution was and still is increasing, and there was a growing realization in my mind that my eyes should be wide open to potential change.

To make any change palitable to me, it would be important to retain my autonomy. And certainly the scales would have to lean heavily toward enhancing my professional life. Those are two big expectations! Yet, it happened and I
